Now that some of us are having kids or muliple kids or in my case, one on the way, Here is an interesting read. Remember to bond with them, love them, play with them, and dominate them in video games, because one day, our kids will become better, faster, stronger than us. And perhaps 10-15 years down the road when we all get together at one of Kenton's annual lan parties we can play old guys vs young guys and teach them young whippersnappers a thing or two.

(you guys remember my little brother Jonathan... yeah, he's 20 now and way better than I am at video games now)

I'm curious how many people still look at this site. When/if you read this, post a comment.

I dunno if anyone reads this site anymore... but if you do, please be informed that there will be a New Year's Eve LAN party once again at my mom's house this year. All are invited (assuming I've met you before). Please let me know if you're coming. (Might want to e-mail temporal@gmail.com in case I forget to check here.)

So I admit that my previous endorsement of Bill Richardson was a bit premature. Although I do like him, he is rather uninspiring and prone to gaffes. Also, at the time, Barack Obama didn't really have policies. That has been fixed.

Transparent Democracy is beautiful. Hell, everything on that page is pretty awesome.

And wouldn't it be nice to have a president that is actually inspiring when he speaks? I've come to think that this is, in fact, a very relevant skill... because I think Obama would have a much easier time inspiring people to follow his lead than any other candidate would, and thus could get a lot more done.

Meanwhile Hillary talks about how Republicans are evil, manufactures a never-ending stream of lies to which Obama is forced to spend too much time responding, and really has nothing going for her except that everyone likes her husband. Why is she leading in the polls? I don't understand it. :( I'd seriously consider voting for John McCain over her.

Now, Mitt Romney, on the other hand... God damn, I hate that guy. (PS. Huckabee is nice but dumb, Ron Paul's policies sound clever but would actually destroy us, and Giuliani 9/11 9/11 9/11, 9/11.)

Obama vs. McCain would be such a wonderful choice to have to make (although seeing Obama beat any of the other Republicans in a landslide would also be cool). Clinton vs. Romney would be a very sad choice to have to make (hopefully Bloomberg would save us).

Yep, I'm doing it again. As usual, starts at noon, Dec 31st, in my mom's basement. I'm told she's having it organized and recarpeted!

Please let me know if you're coming, and suggest some games.

My friend Dev -- founder of Fate of Io -- entered a Machinima contest. The goal was to use World of Warcraft to create a music video to go with one of three songs by The Ataris (some rock band).

I think he produced an amazing video:

He was selected as one of the ten finalists and is currently leading the voting:

If you have a chance, check out the other finalists and vote. The video by Dead Workers Party is also pretty good (and is in second as of this writing).
