On my way home from Washington DC I got a phone call informing me that I landed a job at AOL (a Time Warner Company) in the news room as an Associate Producer for News and Sports Video (I associate news articles with video feeds).
So what does this mean? Well for starters I will be moving out to the Washington DC area sometime this week or next week and that I will be moving out of my parent’s basement (score). It also means that I will be working for Time Warner which means that I will no longer be eligible for almost half of televisions sweepstakes (bummer).
Those wondering what I will be doing here is the job description:
Associate Producer for News and Sports Video -
Reporting to AOL News and Sports mutlimedia producers, the asscociate producer for news and sports video will be responsible for timley publishing video assets and coordinate the placement / promotion of those assets on the AOL News main page, AOL News articles, AOL Sports main screen and AOL Sports articles.
Also this may only be temporary as it is a contract position and like all contracts it is subject to completions dates.
