Wow. They should just replace every occurrance of "rock music" with "video games" in this video and then run it again today. It would be completely on-topic.

I find it disturbing and sad that there are people that even think like Lofton. How many times does prohibition have to fail before people figure out that education is a better solution?

‘Found’ this gem on the WMSU blog – they titled it Frank Zappa verses Robert Novak but really it should be entitled Frank Zappa verses John Lofton (at the time of this video he was a writer for the Washington Times).

It weighs in at 20-plus Minutes but it is well worth the watch –

Selling Points:

John Lofton accuses of Zappa of promoting incest and defending records that glorify incest. Zappa asks Lofton to name some records that promote incest. Lofton responds with “You ought to get out more.” – this state will come back to haunt Lofton.

Zappa to Lofton: “I love it when you froth like that.” and “Kiss my ass! How do you like that buddy? Come on lets froth.”

Lofton proves Godwin’s Law

Zappa says America’s biggest threat is moving America toward of fascist theocracy

Lofton bashes Zappa’s interest in getting kids to vote and run for office.
