There are 12 offensive players in the draft and a shitload of defenders. Assuming all of them are taken and everyone wants to draft 3 starting defenders plus a backup or 2, that's like 6 rounds. That should take care of any of the desirable players in the draft. What we'll do is temporarily expand rosters by 6 players for the draft, let people draft and release 6 players from their draft or their existing roster, then shrink the rosters back down. I'm thinking of doing the draft Tuesday-Wednesday maybe? We'll let players make any waiver claims on non-contracted players, then lock the rosters and create the draft. could we do this sometime other than tues or weds? I have soccer games both nights and since its the end of the season we are going out after both games. So i probably wont be around until 11ish. if you guys want to do the draft late, but i cant gaurantee that time.

The draft will gray out those who are already on teams. I'll create it tomorrow. I'm fine with drafting any time, but with fewer rounds doing preranking should at least be feasible. If you prerank I suggest going into the draft room tomorrow night after it's created and importing your preranks to the draft.

Is there any consensus on when we should do this?

Draft is created so everyone can go in, set up your queues for picks, etc.
